Yesterday I went in to get my roots colored. And while I was in there I decided to take out the pink and add in royal blue with dark grape purple. Best decision I have ever made! I seriously love my hair. I do realize that coloring your hair is something you are supposed to go through when you are a teenager but I never got the chance. I am pretty sure my parents would not have been down with the idea.
So now that I am older and wiser and more importantly my job allows it (cuz I'm my own boss :)) I have fell in love with dying my hair different colors! My New York Mini 10k is an all female race coming up on June 9th and I feel this is the best look for that race!!
As I was crawling into bed last night at 10:45 my husband Scott had a burst of energy and wanted to go see our friend's band play. They were going on in 10 mins so as much as I was happy to curl under the covers and hit the hay I jumped up threw on my glasses and a sweatshirt and we rode to see their show. They did an awesome job and their EP is coming out soon. When it does I will let you know because they are truley talented and I think a lot of you guys would like their music. It is three sisters with a guy playing an extra guitar and a drum player. They are Hey Anna! Seriously so good!
We got home a little after midnight and I fell asleep around 12:30-1 so instead of hearing my 5 AM alarm I just woke up and am way tired. Need to go get my run on!!
This weekend we are packing for our move next week!! Woohoo! And we got invited up to the Hamptons on Sunday night to stay till Monday but if we don't find a pup sitter that won't be happening :(
How about you guys? Any fun plans for this weekend? Races? Places??
Will be doing 5 today and most likely 8 tomorrow, that is if it STOPS raining already. Geeze!

Sometimes we all need a little Inspiration
This post for for all kinds of inspiration. Right now I am sitting in front of this computer all achy and feeling like junk. I hate being sick, I have no patience for it and as far a viruses are concerned they can kiss my rear end! If it can't be cured with antibiotics then what the heck.... Soooo- to get through this I need a little inspiration.
Also, I have a great group of friends who are taking off this weekend to go run the Ragnar Relay SoCal. I am so excited for them. I was a part of there group last year and I have a lot of respect for these ladies who are choosing to spend money and go climb in vans, get stinky, stay up for over 24 hrs straight and run their hearts out. I bet they could use a little inspiration.
I have another girlfriend who has officially signed up for her first 10k. She has just started running and is ready to see what her body can handle. Inspiration required.
On the other side of things I have two friends going out to Boston in then next couple of days to compete in the Boston Marathon! CONGRATS GIRLS!!! I am sure they could use a little inspiration.
My sisters last post was about how her runs are becoming longer and being a lone runner up there in Minnesota would love a running buddy. She could use a little inspiration.
This video in my book IS inspiration. All of our stories are different, but regardless of what we struggle with EVERYONE needs some inspiration.
Enjoy =)
