Keepin them Movin

Field Day
Love that the kids still have field day.  I remember them growing up and it always meant that summer was right around the corner.  I remember them being a little more serious then the one my kids just had but great exercise non the less.

    Aww great photos- I loved field day! It was so nice to just be outside for the last day of school. Heavenly! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

    great pix and i completely agree that it's important to get kids enthusiastic about staying active, and what better way to do that than with tons of games and a healthy dose of competition to get them fired up?! ;)

    also, good luck on that upcoming marathon! last long run down and now just try not to go stir crazy with all the extra energy during taper time, i'm totally the same way anytime i'm in taper mode. :)

    I love these photos!! Field Day was one of my favorites during elementary school (go figure)..but we'd forward to them for WEEKS before hand! Most of the time, we'd join with other school around town so it'd be a little field trip mixed in, too. Good times. :)

    I SO remember field day! I was always nervous of the running activities because I was so small and couldn't run as fast as the big kids! Who knew one day I would run a marathon ;) Super cute pics!
