First Run Since Marathon and GIVEAWAY

So I ran yesterday for the first time since my race last week.  I ran 5 miles and I will have to say that it felt pretty good.  My shin was annoying me a little but nothing too bad.  I usually have a hard time taking a whole week off after a race but I am happy that I did.  Totally worth it!

Next up is my Mini 10K in Central Park June 9th.  I love this race and its women only :)

Spring is here and with that comes a busier schedule.  My shoot on Saturday went great and the fab.com sale will be on June 5th!  We are also moving at the end of this month and heading to Dallas on Thursday to visit family so it is going to be a crazy two months.  I can already tell.

Shin splits anyone?  I can't seem to shake them.  How do I get rid of them?  What works for you?



Workouts for the week
Mon- Run 5
Tues- Shoulders and Arms and bike 12 miles if I can get it in
Wed. Run 5
Thur- Head to Dallas
Friday- Run 5
Saturday- Run 5
Sun- Rest and fly home


  1. Only thing I've found that works for shin splints is a good sports massage specific for shin splints. It hurts a bit as they work the tissue but it's worth it.

    1. I would totally love too! Unfortunately we are only going to be in town from Thurs-Sun for a family baby blessing and the whole weekend has already been planned for us. Next time I will deftly come straight to Austin! :)

    1. Haha no worries! I work in Fashion Design. I have a clothing label called Edelweiss by Sarah but I am coming out with something new real soon and I think you are going to like it :)
